The pool at Ocean Sands is where beach days take a breather. It’s a family favorite for mid-day resets, after-beach swims, and those moments when the kids still have energy but everyone wants to stay close to “home base.”
It’s the perfect change of pace from the ocean: a quick dip, a lounge chair, and a little sunshine while you decide what’s next. Some days it’s a full afternoon plan. Other days it’s the best hour of the day before heading downtown.
However you do it, the pool adds that easy vacation rhythm - swim, dry off, repeat. And when you’re ready, the beach is never far.
Seasonal dates
The heart of summer happens right here. Our pool is open for the season from Memorial Day Weekend through late September, ensuring you have a sparkling blue retreat for those warm Maine afternoons. Whether it’s a post-beach rinse or a dedicated day of lounging, the water is ready when you are.

We keep the gates open to match your vacation rhythm.
- Daily: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM
- Quiet Hours: 8:00 PM – 9:00 PM (Perfect for a peaceful evening soak under the coastal stars).
POOL GUIDELINES
To make sure every family has a great time, we keep things simple and safe:
- Safety First: There is no lifeguard on duty, so please keep a close eye on your little swimmers.
- Family-Friendly: Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
- Glass-Free Zone: For everyone's toes, please keep all glass containers away from the pool deck.
- Swim Wear: Proper swim attire is required, and little ones not yet potty-trained must wear swim diapers.
- Respect the Vibe: We love a good splash, but please keep music at a respectful volume so everyone can enjoy the Maine breeze.
